"Breathe" is a small acrylic pen drawing inspired by our mental health struggles relates to our fear of dying. Fear of death can manifest in various ways and impact our well-being, leading to anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. In the midst of this, breathing can also serve as a powerful tool to alleviate stress and promote relaxation.
The painting "Breathe" is a poignant representation of these struggles, in the style of Michelle Baharier's other paintings "Static", "Zoom" from the Covid Diaries Series and "Run Rabit Run", a drawing inspired by the Day of the Dead. It explores the complex relationship between our mental health and our fear of death.
