Run Rabbit Run is a small acrylic pen drawing inspired by The Day of the Dead, which is celebrated widely with processions across Latin America.
The calavera, which means “skull” in Spanish, has become one of the most recognizable cultural and artistic elements of the Day of the Dead festivities. Otherwise known as Sugar skulls because they are originally made of sugar, calaveras represent the departed soul of a loved one to honor the return of his or her spirit on the Day of the Dead.
